Dragonfall will see a new team of runners up to no good in the anarchic city, including my new icon, a combat medic with razor hands. It'll bring new characters, new weapons including a sniper rifle and grenade launcher, new enemies, and more editor treats for modders to play with.
It'll cost $14.99, available through Steam and DRM-free on GOG. Kickstarter backers will receive it for free.
Patch 1.2 will launch alongside Dragonfall, bringing features including the much-requested option to save the game at will, not just at autosave checkpoints.

MW, good times. He is two desks over from me, but very busy almost always. This month working on http://golemarcana.com/ both game play and manufacturing, not actually at his desk right now... not surprising.

I like games that punish you if you screw up, so that victory is earned and satisfying. I really enjoy ironman modes if it is an available option. Blackguards and Banner Saga also have very limited saving. That being said, SRR has some very long levels if you have to leave your PC. Also the audience spans into a lot of the story-only non-tactical type of audiences who dont want to lose progress even if the RNG decided they should die, so making people happier is sometimes good. It is quite crucial feature for tablets which is why we felt it needed to be done. Tablet version may be about a month behind PC/Mac/Linux version

The berlin area is a hub world with a train station, you can take the train to complete missions in various orders. There are also side missions not via train, and I think they are totally optional. Also there are usually 2 or 3 ways to advance to the next area, and it affects the number / aggression of enemies or the amount of help you get from external source.
