The Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer debuts Kraven the Hunter

Activision and Beenox are preparing their upcoming tie-in to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with a new trailer, debuting an interesting new take on classic villain Kraven the Hunter.

Activision has released a new trailer for its upcoming movie tie-in game, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Showing details of the game's "unique side-story" promised at New York Comic Con, the trailer offers a first glimpse at the game's central villain: Kraven the Hunter.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 offers an interesting twist on Kraven, a character that won't be seen in the film. Rather than debut as a big game hunter as originally depicted in the comics, Kraven is seen in more of a mentor role.

Beenox's tie-in to the second Spidey movie is set for a Spring 2014 release, but it'll likely hit around the time of the movie's May 2 release.
