It's the season of giving, and Mojang is opting to make it pretty easy. If you own a copy of Scrolls, you'll get a free code to send to a friend for his or her own copy.

A note on the official site makes the process sound pretty painless. Just log into your account, click on "Send to Friend," and enter an e-mail address. The site notes that the codes will expire on January 31. It doesn't mention a cutoff date, though, so it's unclear if this applies to new purchases--and if so, for how long. Shacknews has contacted Mojang for clarification.

Mojang just rolled out version 0.112.1 of Scrolls as well, fixing a few bugs and making miscellaneous gameplay adjustments.
