Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is due in January, but you can start a skirmish of sorts right now. Namco Bandai has released a fairly substantial demo on both PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, with and your progress will carry over to the main game.

You can try out four missions of the single-player mode, one mission of the co-op mode, and an eight-player battle royale split into two teams. The full game will be available January 28 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Vita.
