Gran Turismo 6 opening video and Red Bull cars revealed
Gran Turismo 6 arrives on PS3 and a new opening video heralds its arrival. Also, there are three Red Bull cars coming your way, all of which promise to give you wings. METAPHORICAL WINGS!
Perhaps lost in the recent microtransaction controversy is the fact that Gran Turismo 6 will indeed arrive on PlayStation 3 tomorrow. Sony has posted the game's opening video and also announced a few Red Bull cars that give you wings. (Note: These are metaphorical wings. The idea of winged flying cars would just be silly.)
Polyphony president Kazunori Yamauchi revealed (via PlayStation.Blog) the Red Bull X2014 Fan car (X2014/F), the Red Bull X2014 Standard car (X2014/S), and the Red Bull X2014 Junior car (X2014/J) at a launch event earlier this week in Spain. How and when exactly they'll arrive in GT6 is unclear for now.
As you wait to start your engines, check out the full opening video below.

The TOP GEAR stuff fits really well into the Forza world with how they integrated it. They talk about cars. Forza is a game about experiencing cars. Those guys know cars, so it seems logical to merge those two forms of media together and make a whole new experience for people who love cars.
Red Bull is a huge sponsor in auto racing, so this seems like the next best thing GT could try to corner to differentiate from Forza. Forza's community, however, typically has the Red Bull liveries for cars that typically carry a Red Bull sponsorship, so it's an easy way to get around any contractual dealings with Red Bull proper.
