As is all the rage these days, NBA 2K14 has a companion app. Through it, you'll be able to earn Virtual Currency (VC) for use in the console versions of the game--up to 2000 VC every 24 hours. In addition, the app offers access to leaderboards, player profiles, and stats from the career. You can also build a card collection of current and former NBA players and battle them in the MyTeam Mobile mode.

You can earn VC by picking the winners of upcoming NBA games. In addition, you can earn VC by using the VC Draft feature. Finally, the "2K Ticker" will stream score directly from the NBA.
