The Humble Bundle is offering another spate of PC games, this time a collection of WB Games properties for charity. Appropriately enough, a portion of proceeds will go towards DC Comics' We Can Be Heroes charity, which combats the hunger crisis in the horn of Africa by selling branded superhero merch.

The bundle includes Batman: Arkham Asylum, F.E.A.R. 2, F.E.A.R. 3, and The Lord of the Rings: War in the North. If you pay more than the average--currently just below $4--you'll also get Batman: Arkham City and Scribblenauts Unlimited. Each runs on Steam for Windows, though notably Arkham City has a Mac version available.

I can vouch for F.E.A.R. 2. It has pretty good A.I., so you will get into a lot of challenging gunfights.

What about the kung-fu aspects of the first game? Did they carry over into 2?

Not sure what you mean by kung-fu. I remember being able to kick in 1, can't remember if that's in 2.

Yeah, that was what I was referring to. Flying scissor kicks all over the place. So much fun.

I loved both games. F3 is a straight-up shooter; once you embrace it's achievement system it's fantastically enjoyable

How easy is it to give away games in a Humble bundle? I've got most of them and just want to donate to the cause so might as well give those games away to shackers.

They seem to have changed things in this bundle. Previously they just gave out keys you could give away. Now there's some sort of Steam redemption thing which just credits your account with any games you didn't already own, and you can't give them away individually.

You can still give them away individually. It just doesn't create a key that is sellable.

You can still give them away, you just have to hit the gift button and send the resulting URL to someone. They then link that game/gift to their steam account.

For a second there I thought African Hunger Charity was a game, and I was intrigued.
