We thought Nintendo was phasing out the Basic Wii U model, especially after the company admitted that people preferred the 32GB model. Given how little space the 8GB model gives consumers, it isn't a very good deal. Yet, Nintendo is trying to give the white Basic model some traction with a new bundle--one that comes with Skylanders: Swap Force.

Launching on November 15, the Skylanders Swap Force Wii U bundle includes a white 8GB Wii U system, Skylanders Swap Force, a Portal of Power, three Skylanders figures, two Swap Force characters, a collector's poster, trading cards, and sticker sheets, and a copy of Nintendo Land. It'll retail for $299.99.

That's the same price as Nintendo's two other Wii U bundles, one which includes The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD and the other which includes New Super Mario Bros U & New Super Luigi U.
