LittleBigPlanet adds new costumes at a regular pace, whether it's Halloween or not. But as the annual costuming day approaches, Sackboy is getting some duds inspired by the classic Nightmare Before Christmas, and level kits to boot.

The PlayStation Blog has announced that the Nightmare themed items will hit the PlayStation Store this week. A costume pack will include Jack and Oogie-Boogie, among others. As usual, the costumes are cross-buy, so buying it for one game lets you play with it in the others.

The level kits, on the other hand, are not cross-buy. They'll be available for both LBP2 and LBP Vita, for $4.99 apiece. They both include most of the same level-making goodies, but the Vita version has some unique items to take advantage of its touch functions.
