Borderlands 2 will be kicking off its new "Headhunter" missions this month. Gearbox announced today that TK Baha's Bloody Harvest, the first of the three planned DLC Headhunter missions, will hit on October 22. It will cost $2.99.

The Headhunter packs, first announced back in July, put you through a gauntlet of enemies. It culminates in a boss fight that will reward you with a new head to pop on your character's shoulders. TK Baha's Bloody Harvest in particular has you taking on Pumpkin Kingpin's evil pumpkin patch, Gearbox explains in a blog post. Once you beat the Kingpin, you can claim his pumpkin head. Enemies will be dropping augmented candy to provide temporary buffs throughout the mission.

Other Headhunter missions will add more noggins for you to collect, but 2K and Gearbox haven't shared details on those just yet.

FFS, they might as well offer monthly subscriptions for this game. I think they're on par to have more DLC than Train Simulator.
