It's hard to picture the mind of Hidetaka "Swery65" Suehiro, creator of the survival horror Deadly Premonition. However, a new digital book called Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut Official Visual Companion promises to give fans a unique glimpse into the Swery65's psyche, as well as supplement the overall Deadly Premonition experience before the Director's Cut arrives on PC.

The Visual Companion features 352 pages containing over 100 interactive elements and hidden secrets about Deadly Premonition. It will also feature entries from Swery65's notebook detailing the making of the game, along with concept sketches and hi-res art. If that isn't enough to send chills down your spine, you can also listen to the game's soundtrack or mess around with an included soundboard.

Players will also be able to play around with three interactive maps that show everything in the game. So be forewarned that this book may contain spoilers for the game. It's available now on iBooks for iPad for $9.99.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
