Star Wars: Tiny Death Star is Tiny Tower, but in the Death Star
Sometimes, mobile crossovers just make sense. Tiny Tower, the official iPhone Game of the Year, is getting a Disney-approved spin-off with Star Wars: Tiny Death Star. As its name suggests, it's Tiny Tower--but in the Death Star.

"Live life on the dark side and join Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader on a mission to attract Galactic bitizens, run intergalactic businesses, and build an all-new Death Star," Disney's announcement describes. "Construct unique Star Wars themed locations to attract iconic characters and species to your space station in this 8-bit style game."
According to Disney, the game will be available on "mobile devices" soon, which we're assuming means iOS and Android.

Angry Birds in general or Angry Birds Star Wars in particular?
People shitting on Angry Birds in general may just be due to overexposure - you can't walk three feet in a Fry's without running into something with the Angry Birds license attached to it. But Rovio "selling out" was done on their third game - the Angry Birds RIO title.
People shitting on Angry Birds Star Wars in particular are probably just annoyed that Yet Another Thing is getting a Star Wars coat of paint on it. I mean yeah that ship sailed as soon as you saw Super Bombad Racing or any number of pieces of merchandise like Darth Maul with a sucker coming out of his head. But really the Angry Birds Star Wars games work just fine, and they're nowhere near as cheesy as that horrible Star Wars Kinect game with the Han Solo dancing sequence.
