The Xbox 360-exclusive The Bureau: XCOM Declassified downloadable content "Hangar 6 R&D" will hit next week, 2K has announced. It will cost $4.99, and hit on October 8. In a post on the 2K Games blog, lead designer Harley White-Wiedow detailed the DLC. It takes place six months before the main game, and stars Agent DeSilva. It's squarely focused on challenging squad combat, for those who have already mastered the systems in the main campaign. DeSilva has some new abilities and perks based around bombs, or you can stick with the tried-and-true abilities that Carter had. New weapons include an AK-47 and a Microwave Gun. DeSilva's story focuses on why he talks about having lost friends, and what the agency was like before the invasion began. That seems to fulfill the story-focused points that 2K promised when it first announced the DLC.

Looking oh so suave in four screenshots

I know there isn't a ton of love for this game, but does anyone know if this is just timed DLC? I actually really liked this game on PC.

Since the story was only "meh" in my opinion (and kinda incomplete) and the combat was my favorite part, I was really hoping for something completely different in the vein of Blood Dragon or Undead Nightmare.

Yeah I'd love to see an evolution of the mechanics with a totally different scenario (ie get rid of the shitty characters and narrative)
