As clouds gather over PlayStation 3 to unleash Rain later today, the launch trailer has trickled out a little in advance. It's very much the sort of artsy game that seems at home on PlayStation, and we enjoyed what we played in July, so huzzah for the launch.

Rain is a puzzling sneaker, which sees an invisible boy pursue an invisible girl through soaking streets. They may be invisible but they're still solid, so they stand as dry silhouettes amidst the falling rain. As do the various monsters after you. Get out the rain and you're invisible, though, so together you'll scamper about, evading and outwitting the nasties.

Developed by Sony's Japan Studio, Rain will arrive in today's PlayStation Store update at $14.99.
