Of course, that tone is immediately negated when the title card pops up. It is called Need for Speed, after all.

I find it very difficult to disconnect Aaron Paul from Jesse at the moment.

yea he looks a little goofy right? i cant figure out why? cause hes tiny? is it the hair? he looks too clean maybe? i dont know.

No offense to him, but he just looks like a typical skinny white guy. That's not necessarily a negative (Edward Norton would fall into the same category, and he's a spectacular actor), but it does make him more or less ideal for certain roles.

Seems like the voice over is a little serious for what I'm imagining this movie being. That might be a prejudgment on it being a Need for Speed game movie though.
None the less, I'm sure Aaron will be fantastic and it looks like it should be an excellent car race/chase movie. Even if that's all it is.
