Badman coming to Vita as free-to-play
Badman, star of What Did I Do To Deserve This, My Lord?! and its sequels, is getting a free-to-play Vita game in Japan.
Badman, the anti-hero protagonist of the PSP games What Did I Do To Deserve This, My Lord?! and its sequels, is heading to the Vita in Japan. Instead of a traditional console release, though, it will be a free-to-play puzzle game with in-app item purchases and four-player co-op.
The Japanese magazine Famitsu (via Siliconera) revealed the game, which is simply called Badman G. If it does come westward, we'd expect a title change like the other games in the series. This would be the fourth Badman game, after NIS America brought over the first two and Sony Computer Entertainment America handled the third.
Each of the games has revolved around Badman attempting to get some rest and relaxation in his evil lair, but being interrupted constantly by meddling heroes. It has the player utilizing puzzle mechanics to maintain monsters to take care of the wandering do-gooders.
