The Evil Within TGS 'gameplay' trailer shows lots of scares but little gameplay
You may quite fancy a good look at The Evil Within gameplay, and might think the Tokyo Game Show would be a good time to share some, given that it's baby of Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami. You won't find it in the new TGS "gameplay" trailer though. You big naive fool.

Yes, the trailer may be in-game footage from the survival horror, but it's all cut up into tiny pieces, and mostly from cutscenes anyway. Because that's what you want, isn't it: something cool that looks cool, even if it doesn't show you anything interesting about the game. We were pretty pleased with what we saw of actual gameplay earlier this year at E3, mind.
Developed at Mikami's Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks, The Evil Within is due on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2014.
