Ryse: Son of Rome is set in a time and place in which war was more brutal, up-close and personal. Naturally, a short trailer explaining the combat systems features plenty of the efficient-but-gross "stab him in the neck" strategy, interspersed with developers chatting about crafting the feel of it.
The short video doc shows some reference work, the executions system, and how it made the protagonist Marius Titus one mean centurion. It will be launching with Xbox One, on November 22.
