The team at the Creative Assembly has given a closer look at Total War: Rome 2 multiplayer, with a lengthy play session headed by community manager Trish Ryniah and multiplayer designer Elliot Lock. The result is a nice lengthy look at multiplayer with some insights from Lock himself.

The two play against each other as Parthia and Pontus, doing battle in Gor. Lock walks through some of the new features for Rome 2, and shows off the sheer scale of the battles. Total War: Rome 2 is due on September 3.
