Dead Island: Epidemic. is a free-to-play MOBA that gets rid of the series' first-person perspective and trades it in for an overhead four-on-four-on-four arena. While it can be easy to look at it as "just another MOBA," the game does seem to have some interesting new ideas.

Beta signups have begun for the game, which should give you an early look at how Deep Silver is taking their own take on the genre.

You'll have to fill out a rather lengthy survey in order to qualify. And not everyone will get in. "Only sections marked with an * are required, but filling out the rest of the form will increase your chances of getting accepted into the alpha and beta," the form notes.
