One of the most impressive things about Kinect Sports Rivals is Kinect's ability to automatically create an avatar simply by looking at you. You may have seen it in action in yesterday's tech video, but you'll get a better look in this lengthy video.

In this official Microsoft-produced video, OXM's Aoife Wilson walks in front of Kinect to produce an avatar. The camera detects her glasses, asks her to take them off, and then scans her face. Voila! Her in-game character looks just like the real thing. If Kinect can consistently produce these results, we'll be quite impressed.
