Revolution Software has announced that Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse is coming to the PlayStation Vita. This joins the already-announced platforms of PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.

The adventure title had a successful Kickstarter campaign last year, nearly doubling its funding goal. A Vita version wasn't mentioned among the stretch goals, but apparently Revolution decided to take the plunge. It's due in late 2013.

"We are very proud at the reception that our Kickstarter appeal received. As well as funding a core part of development, it has brought together a wonderful community of Broken Sword fans," said Revolution managing director Charles Cecil, in the announcement. "We are thrilled to be bringing the game to PlayStation Vita."
