Ubisoft's first Kinect fighting game, Fighters Uncaged, might have been universally panned, but that hasn't stopped them from trying again with Xbox One. Shacknews talked with executive producer Luc Verdier about Fighter Within.
"We are able to now deliver the experience that players were looking for since the release of [the original] Kinect," Verdier told us. "We can now accurately track two players in front of Kinect fighting against each other, which was possible with Kinect but with lag and less effective responsiveness. With this new technology, we're able to really deliver the experience we were looking for a long time."

It looks pretty enough, but that gameplay looks like typical Kinect garbage. As if it's not jarring enough for you to viewing your character from the side while you throw punches and kicks forward, the moves in this video don't appear to line up to anything the people are doing. Hands go out, so does a canned-animated punch.
