One of the big surprises at E3 this year was Tom Clancy's The Division, Ubisoft Massive's online RPG that looks more like a shooter than a real RPG.
Originally announced for next-gen consoles only, Massive has announced a PC version, citing fan feedback.
Fredrik Rundqvist, executive producer on The Division, explained in a new YouTube video that the PC version of the game will be no mere port. "Massive Entertainment has its roots in PC development, with titles like Ground Control, World in Conflict, you can be certain that we'll provide you with a first-rate PC experience."
So yay, PC gamers will be able to play The Division! Unfortunately, not all of the game, as Ubisoft has also announced "exclusive content" for the Xbox One version of the game. There's no word on exactly what this will entail. Will it tie into the second-screen experience that both Microsoft and Ubisoft seem so keen on?
