KickBeat for PS3 and Vita lets you import your own music
KickBeat comes with 18 licensed tracks, but if that's not enough, Zen Studios demonstrates a feature that allows players to import their own music.
The musical beat-'em-up KickBeat drops in two weeks on PS3 and Vita. After previously teasing the idea of using custom tracks, Zen Studios explains the importing process and notes that this feature means "the game really never ends."
According to the PlayStation.Blog, players can tinker with imported KickBeat tracks in a special menu that allows them to synchronize the beat and rhythm using the Triangle button. The newest trailer, shown below, displays a rhythmic butt-whooping to the sounds of various musical genres, like trance, hip-hop, and electronica. You can also crack some skulls to the sounds of the Spice Girls. We promise not to judge. KickBeat's import feature is available in addition to the 18 licensed tracks currently in the single-player campaign.
