Tearaway for Vita is the next game from Media Molecule, creators of LittleBigPlanet. So the Powers that Be at Sony Marketing knew that it was time to unleash their most powerful weapon: synergy.
Later today, the PlayStation Store will be updated with a special "Tearaway Competition Pack" for LittleBigPlanet 2 for PS3 and LittleBigPlanet Vita. The free add-on will add a music track from Tearaway, as well as stickers from Media Molecule's new world.
Of course, you can enjoy the free content as-is. But as the name implies, there's a competition involved as well. Creating a Tearaway-themed level for LBP will enter you for all sorts of prizes, with the Grand Prize winner receiving a Vita and the Rare Prize Crown for LittleBigPlanet.
