"Stasis Interrupted" is a new single-player campaign that promises to tell the story of what happened to Hicks between Aliens and Alien 3.
You'll play as three different characters in an interlocking story. Xbox Live Marketplace details the add-on:
Waking up unexpectedly from hypersleep, Lisbeth and others must figure out why the spaceship they are on, the Legato, has been diverted to intercept the Sulaco leaving LV-426's orbit. Fight your way through the alien infested spaceship, find out what Michael Weyland is after and discover what truly happened to Hicks.
The 2GB DLC is out now on Xbox 360 and Steam. It should hit PlayStation Network later today as well. It costs $9.99 (800 Microsoft Points), and is included with the Season Pass.

Yeah, that's why the only times I've preordered something, I've considered it equivalent to lighting that amount of money on fire. And the only game I've ever preordered is the Japanese version of Catherine (which was pretty damn good; even though I couldn't understand the dialogue, still lots of fun).

The DLC is a frozen cryochamber screen followed by fade to black followed by this pic and a game + OS hardlock: http://images.wikia.com/half-life/en/images/archive/d/da/20091001172538!Randy_Pitchford.jpg

It wasn't Hicks we saw for a brief moment in Alien 3, the actor wasn't even Michael Biehn. In fact Biehn threatened to sue production if they used his likeness.
After several decades, we finally find out who it actually is, and sure enough--this DLC makes Alien 3 better knowing Hicks isn't dead, what's unfortunate though is that Ripley has no idea.

After playing this game for 10 minutes I'm convinced that not a single person working on this game saw the Aliens movie or just wasn't paying attention. Even my dad who doesn't play video games at all, was like "they take a lot of bullets to drop" and that was on easy mode. Pulse rifles fire exploding bullets, not slugs.
