Ace Attorney producer wants to make more Investigations
Ace Attorney producer Motohide Eshiro says he would like to make more games in the Miles Edgeworth spin-off series.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is heading stateside as a download-only game, but producer Motohide Eshiro says he'd like to get back to the spin-off series as well. "Ace Attorney Investigations" spun off two games starring Miles Edgeworth, and Eshiro is hoping to make a third.
"As far as a continuation of the Investigations series goes, I would love to do another one, personally, and I know [scenario director] Mr. Yamazaki would also be interested in getting something like that spun up," Eshiro told Siliconera. "It would be a matter of securing the appropriate personnel within Capcom and getting everything planned, so I intend to try to do something with that in the future, but I can't make any promises."
If another game does star Phoenix's legal opponent, though, it would take into account some of the new developments from the next game--which Eshiro is tight-lipped about.
"Miles Edgeworth in this game has changed," he said. "For one thing his position has elevated quite a bit. He's been promoted. As far as his personality goes, the experiences he’s had have changed him as a person. I don't want to give away too much. You'll have to play the game to see how he’s changed and how he behaves."
