Walking Dead season two will have more Clementine, Kenny
The Walking Dead season two will bring back Clementine, and explore the fate of Kenny, according to Telltale.
Telltale Games gave us a small taste of what's in store for season two of The Walking Dead with the recently released 400 Days DLC. Aside from a brief cameo or two, though, we didn't see any sign of returning favorites from the previous season. At a San Diego Comic-Con panel, the studio confirmed that some familiar faces will be back. Spoilers follow.
IGN reports that the panel revealed Clementine "will definitely be a part of" the season. To that end, it showed a teaser image of what appeared to be Clementine sitting in the rain next to another child. It also stated that Kenny's fate "will be explored," after it was left somewhat nebulous by the events of season one. The panel didn't state if either character will be playable, though, so we're still not sure who will serve as the protagonist of this story.
Season two is coming this fall.

Do you REALLY hope for that? I'm of the mind that the level of execution for the story in TWD would not have been possible if many of your choices had drastic impacts on the narrative.
TWD gives you the exact right amount of agency, as far as I'm concerned. Anything more would break the design of what they're trying to accomplish. Linear is not bad.-
I think they handled it fine. I *felt* like I was in control, even though the reality is that the decisions only slightly impact the end game. Still felt like I was in control and had to make tough calls.
The only decision I didn't enjoy was - cutting off Lee's arm. I chose not to, yet he acted like I had. He would only use one arm to climb and hold on to ledsges. It broke the immersion to know that the game didn't care what I had chosen. -

More than enough budget? I don't think you know what you're talking about.
I've replayed TWD three times. Do you not enjoy watching your favorite movie multiple times? Your choices DO matter all throughout the game, even if you eventually end up at the same point.
What's interesting is that the choices matter more to you (as the player) than the actual game world itself.

I didn't actively seek out info on the new game, because I am interested in it.. but don't want what happens in the first spoiled. It was posted as a news item here in chatty, and before I'd even realized it, I'd read a spoiler. That happens when it's the first bloody line of the article.
Whatever.. I'm obviously in the minority here. Just because I haven't had time to make my way through all the episodes yet, doesn't mean I don't have interest in the series.
Vader is Luke's father... Snape kills Dumbledore... yadda yadda yadda

I know we've talked about this before, but geesh I hate the false outrage over spoilers. If you actually cared about having this game spoiled you would have
A.) finished it sometime in the last six months
B.) not put yourself into a position where things can be spoiled for you
I'm also disappointed that our culture has come to such a point where it's all about the surprise. If a piece of fiction is ruined or lessened for you because you are privy to a 'surprise' moment, then I'm guessing that piece wasn't too strong in the first place. This stuff should be more about the trajectory/moments leading up to that surprise, not the event itself. -
