Fable Anniversary holding fan achievement contest
Lionhead is holding a contest to let fans create an achievement for Fable Anniversary. Entries are due this Sunday, July 14.
Fable Anniversary is putting a fresh coat of paint on the original Fable. Sadly, when the first game was released, "Achievements" weren't even a thing yet. I know, it's hard to imagine! So as part of its modernizing, Lionhead is coming up with new achievements, and inviting players to make one up themselves.
A post on the official site (via IGN) details the contest. Your entries have to be an action that is already possible in the original Fable or The Lost Chapters expansion, and they have to be submitted by 11:59 PM BST on Sunday, July 14. After Lionhead narrows down its favorite five, a public vote for the winner will begin next week. You can check out the full rules on the forum, which is also where you'll post your own entries.
The winner will have his or her name included in the credits, and get a free copy of the game once it comes out. That's just one of the perks of being a kinda-sorta game developer. All five finalists will get a Fable Anniversary t-shirt and a bunch of E3 badges.
