The 3DS-exclusive sequel to A Link to the Past, now dubbed The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, is coming this November, IGN reports. That means you'll be able to turn into a painting and play through the first Zelda really made with 3D in mind. Given its holiday season release, we wouldn't be surprised to see a limited edition 3DS system bundle with this long-awaited sequel.

This is the game I'm probably looking forward to most this year.

Even though I think the graphics suffer from New SMB-blandness, I'm still pretty excited. I'm sure it's still very well done, and some of the music I've heard is pretty good.

DAE think this game looks like crap? The art style is just horrible :/

They replaced a bunch of the early temporary assets, which basically had no texture and lots of shine, with things that look much closer to release quality assets. And now for the first time, in a game, Link looks like old box art Link.

And it runs at 60hz. I didn't know the 3DS could make games look that smooth. Looks amazing in person, can't wait till its out

Is it 60hz in 3D or just when the 3D slider is off? 60hz in 3D would be pretty impressive.

With or without AA, I wonder. Impressive, nonetheless! Now I have another reason to check it out. You know, beyond my rampant Zelda fanboyism.

Is this a remake of link to the past? Or a true sequel, the video I saw of it seemed like it was taking on the exact same map as link to the past

Sequel that takes place in the same world with the same Link

          Same world == Same map?

Like the second time through the original Zelda ?

The first 3 bundles were 3DS, the last 3 were 3DS XLs, so the odds are good, especially if the XL is outselling the smaller model.

          3DS
          Zelda
          Fire Emblem
          Mario

          3DS XL
          Pikachu
          Monster Hunter
          Animal Crossing

In Europe, Fire Emblem 3DS bundle was an XL. And as an owner of one, that thing is rad!
