General Zod coming to Injustice: Gods Among Us in July
General Zod is the next DLC character for Injustice.
The DLC train continues for Injustice: Gods Among Us. General Zod will be available to download come July, Conan O'Brien oddly announced (via Joystiq).
General Zod has appeared frequently as a super villain in the Superman films. As a Kryptonian, he has the same powers as Superman (but does that mean he'll just be a character re-skin?). He also appears as the main villain of Man of Steel, which probably explains the summer release of this add-on character.

No, he does very different "versions" of those powers, as per the video. -

I think it's going to be an alt skin for Superman. At least, that's the current speculation!

I think he actually looks like an alt skin for Zod with the laser eyes and such.
