Robin Hunicke, former producer at Journey studio thatgamecompany, has announced a new partnership with Keita Takahashi, creator of Katamari Damacy and Noby Noby Boy.

Hunicke's new company Funomena will develop the title.

Explaining his inspiration, Takahashi said that "my new game idea came from playing with my two year old son." Apparently, he imagined what it would be like if blocks suddenly sprang to life.

There isn't much more about the collaboration at the moment, we're afraid. But hey, a new game from Takahashi--that's cool, right?
