  I think it looks great; it really goes back to the design roots of the PS2.

    They definitely share design attributes. And I'm assuming you can lay the PS4 horizontally too.
    
    The focus is more home entertainment unit this season.

      Actually it reminds me of the Toshiba HD-XA1, the first HD-DVD player. Looks like the Xbox might soon suffer the same fate as HD-DVD.

  Quite similar to the xbox but i prefer it.
  
  I like the principles behind both, black, minimal, they both look like high amplifiers or something. I think the ps4 looks a bit classier though, there is something about the xbox proportions that look clumsy or over large. The ps4 seems quite petite in comparison.

  Pretty similar, slant just seems like it was done to make it different. I prefer the look of the Xbone but getting the PS4 first this time around still. I just want a console to sit on my shelf in the end.

  They are both pretty boring looking to be honest. I give the slight edge in looks to the xbox.
