Spelunky coming to PC this summer
Spelunky HD is coming to the PC sometime this summer, developer Mossmouth has announced. The Classic version of the game will remain free.
The rogue-like platformer Spelunky HD won't be an exclusive Xbox Live Arcade game much longer. In addition to the already-announced PS3 and Vita versions, developer Mossmouth announced today that it will be digging its way back to the PC sometime this summer as well.
According to the official site, Spelunky will launch on Steam and GOG first, and then will make an appearance on the Humble Store. Spelunky Classic will also remain free.
The release details were vague, only narrowing it to summertime. It also made passing mention of the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions, but didn't detail any of the "new exclusive features" that were promised for that version.

(just for those who have no idea what I'm talking about... this games started as a PC game which was updated for XBLA and is now being released on PC. Maybe they should update it for the release to PC so the updated, updated version can go back to XBLA?)
But, whatever... this game is awesome and the updated version is excellent so it's a good things it's coming to PC. Again.
