Injustice: Gods Among Us 'Scorpion' DLC confirmed
A new trailer confirms Scorpion as the next DLC character for Injustice: Gods Among Us, confirming yet another piece of the rumored roster.
Following the leaked downloadable content roster to the letter, Injustice: Gods Among Us is getting Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat series as a playable character. A new trailer shows off the redesign from DC Comics' Jim Lee, who created a new costume to make Scorpion fit in the superhero theme.
The trailer also shows off a new costume for Superman that appears to be inspired by the 2009 Blackest Night storyline. It also ends with a fleeting glimpse of Martian Manhunter, one of the more often requested characters.
As previously reported, a rumor after Lobo's release claimed that Batgirl, General Zod, and Scorpion would make up the other three planned DLC characters. This confirms two of the three, with General Zod left to go. The trailer seems to indicate pretty strongly that Manhunter is on the way, though whether he would be in this first set of Season Pass content or another one is unknown.
