PlayStation Store highlights indie games
The PlayStation Store is adding a special indie section with its update today, to highlight its independent games offerings. It's kicking off the new section with a few discounts on recent indie games.
The PlayStation Store will add a dedicated indie section to its interface when it updates later today, to promote its streak of unique (and usually exclusive) independent efforts, such as Journey and The Unfinished Swan. The new section will rotate highlighted games, and it's kicking off with a few discounts on recent indie games.
The PlayStation Blog lists Retro City Rampage for 50% off, and a Papo & Yo game and soundtrack bundle for 40% off, or 55% for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Both deals last until May 21. Zombie Tycoon 2 is still free for PlayStation Plus subscribers for a limited time, as part of Sony's indie-centric Spring Fever promotion.

The game play is pretty standard in a puzzle platformer but the underlying story and presentation are worth the experience. I felt justified with the purchase at the standard PSPlus discount, but at this price I'd say it worth the cost for the story alone.
It has a Game+ feature, to collect dolls and experiment with the puzzle in different ways, but I've never felt compelled enough to go back for a second run. Mostly, its the emotionally sensitive storyline that drove the early buzz.
