A new Fuse trailer highlights the team, just as the demo that lets you play as all four characters launches.
The Fuse demo is out today on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network, and Insomniac has released a new trailer to mark the occasion. It features the Overstrike 9 team interspersed with some story details and action shots.
The demo lets you play as all four characters, and takes place about midway through the game so you can play with the various Xenotech weapons. It also supports 1-4 players with online and split-screen co-op. The full game is due on May 28. Check out the trailer below.

You know, I guess I'm getting old but I'm kind of over violence in video games. Shooting mechanics etc are still fun and all... but the slicing the throat stuff with arterial spray... it's kind of lost it's effect and just seems immature and excessive now. There was a time when it was edgy and kind of exciting, now it just looks lazy and overdone. I'd be perfectly fine with a throat slitting animation with a quick little sound effect and a crumpling body. It gets the point across. I don't know. Maybe it's just the 'old' thing.

I played the demo.
I was excited about this title at first, but after the demo I have some reservations. Seems to "chaotic" to be fun. A was doing more running around to save my life than performing team tactics.
Also I was playing alone and the AI was atrocious.
I don't know, I'm at odds with this title now.
