Infinite Crisis closed beta starts May 8
Infinite Crisis, the MOBA based on the DC universe, will go into closed beta on May 8.
Infinite Crisis, the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) based on the DC universe, will start its closed beta next week. Turbine sent out the announcement today announcing the start date of May 8, along with some new art (above) highlighting some alternate styles of Wonder Woman.
The free-to-play game is set to release later this year, but you can sign up for a chance at a spot on the official site. The game is named after a 2005-2006 crossover event that had various heroes dealing with the complex ramifications of alternate universes -- hence the strange-looking Wonder Women. The plot gives Turbine a chance to introduce any hero with strange variants, which would seem to give plenty of fuel for the DLC model that drives F2P games.
