Metro 2033 novel included with PC version of Metro: Last Light

PC versions of Metro: Last Light get one more special bonus: a free copy of Metro 2033: the novel.

If your PC is worthy enough to play Metro: Last Light, we have good news for you. Not only will you be getting the best-looking version of the game, but you'll also be getting a special digital bonus not found in the console release. New publisher Deep Silver has announced that Last Light will include a free digital copy of the Metro 2033 novel.

The Kindle version of the novel is available for $4.99, and is oddly described as "the novel behind the Metro: Last Light video game" (and not the original Metro 2033, for some reason).

Deep Silver also wanted to point out that the next novel in the franchise from Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro 2035, will be available later this year.

Will this be a pdf file, or a code to download a Kindle version free?

Yay. This is the only book I've done reading on my graduation party.
So it's kinda nice to hear people will get to something to read. There are few people doing this stuff nowadays

Sweet! I have been wanting to read the book ever since (pre-ordered M 2033) I finished the game. What a great surprise!

I hope it is a new translation and not the terrible one that is already out there. The translation I read has some terrible sentences and a couple places that were nearly incomprehensible.

One thing about Eastern euro devs is that they are much more willing to take a chance and follow their unconventional ideas even though it might mean lower sales if it doesnt pan out.

      Gotta respect that.
