Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Wii U cross-region patch due April 15
The Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate update for Wii U that adds cross-region play will be available on April 15, Capcom has announced.
The promised patch for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U is coming April 15, Capcom has announced. The patch adds cross-region play so North Americans and Europeans can play nice together, along with off-screen play on the Wii U GamePad.
The official Monster Hunter account tweeted a date of April 16, followed quickly by a clarification (via Joystiq) that it will be April 15 here in the states. The patch is dropping at the same time across the regions--5 p.m. PT (8 p.m. ET)--hence the confusion over the dates. Time zones can be tricky things. At any rate, once the update is applied you can play with your friends across the pond and learn all sorts of new ways to swear at monsters.
