Daylight trailer reveals UE4 first-person scarer
Scary games are great and all, I say as someone who rarely ever completes them because I'm a big baby, but the trouble is that once you know the jumps and story beats it's far less shocking. So to keep you on your toes on return visits, first-person scare 'em up Daylight generates its abandoned hospital procedurally. Developer Zombie Studios recently released the first trailer, so come see. Boo!

"Each time the player begins a new game, they experience a new world with new content and encounters; from the layout of the building and the things they seek to the events they encounter, it is never the same experience twice," Zombie explains on the official website (via Evil Avatar).
Daylight is built upon Unreal Engine 4. "We are using the realtime lighting of UE4, as well as UE4 has a number of workflow improvements that makes our staff more efficient at making games," Zombie said in a YouTube comment in response to a viewer who scoffed that the game "looks more like UE3."
Zombie has previously dabbled in horror with the licensed Saw games but look, you can't hold movie adaptations against a studio. We all have bills to pay.
Daylight is due on PC "soon" via Steam.
