Fuse sees four professional person-shooters gaining strange and wonderful technological abilities powered by an alien energy source, from a cloaking device to a rifle which crystallises then shatters enemies. They use these weapons and powers to kill men.

It also has a shiny co-op wave survival mode, which we previewed in December.

Fuse began life as Overstrike, but dropped quickly off the radar after it was announced in 2011. It resurfaced under the current name with a less cartoon-y look in September 2012.

Here's a trailer focused on face-kicking hacker Izzy and her Shattergun:

(sigh) I'll be getting this game and playing it and loving every moment of it. Then I'll look over at my friends list and they will be either playing COD, or watching fucking TV on their gaming consoles.

I love insomniacs games but this game still to this day doesn't impress me the slightest. When are we going to step outside of this type of game play? Is there no other ideas out there? Or are we just infatuated with the same old game types that nobody will except anything else?

BTW what the hell was wrong with Overstrike???? It had a unique look to it but they went back to the old realistic looking characters..
