Weekend PC download deals: BioShock Infinite pre-orders a-gogo

It's the weekend before BioShock Infinite launches, which means digital distributors are pulling out all the stops to get you to pre-order. You'll find a mighty fine deal inside! Sales are good in general this weekend, with Borderlands 2 for $16, Dishonored for $24, and more stonking indie discounts than you can shake a stick at.

Sales are good in general this weekend, with Borderlands 2 for $16, Dishonored for $24, and more stonking indie discounts than you can shake a stick at. Here's our selection of this weekend's PC deals:

GameFly

GameFly's running a spring break sale with daily deals and all that jazz. Here's what was on sale when I wrote this:

Dishonored

Amazon

Amazon's offering $30 in credit to spend on other 2K Games releases if you pre-order BioShock Infinite. Something to save for Grand Theft Auto V, perhaps. Plus, regular discounts:

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution

Bundle in a Box

Pay what you want, above $1.99, for Dédale De Luxe, Dinner Date, Phantasmaburbia, and Vampires!. Beat the average price to also get Cognition, Episode 1: The Hangman, I Get This Call Every Day, J.U.L.I.A., and Reversion - The Meeting.

Dinner Date

GamersGate

Just Cause 2

Get Games

Sleeping Dogs

GOG

GOG's big Atari sale includes:

Outcast

Green Man Gaming

GMG has probably the best BioShock Infinite pre-order deal, offering the game plus copies of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and BioShock, then your choice of BioShock 2, Civilization V, Mafia II, Spec Ops: The Line or The Darkness II too for $59.99. Oh, and you get $15 in GMG credit as well. GMG also has a big Sega sale going on, with far more than I list here. And get 20% off most stuff using the voucher code GMG20-NT7TS-SY2RT. You'll need that to get these prices: Until 10am on Sunday:

Borderlands 2

Humble Bundle

Pay what you want, with a minimum of $1, for Basion. Beat the average to get the digital soundtrack too, and pay at least $25 to get a physical bandanna, soundtrack CD, and postcards. It comes DRM-free for PC, Mac, and Linux, and with a Steam key too.

Bastion

Impulse

The Cave

Indie Gala

Pay what you want for Gettysburg: Armored Warfare, Nosferatu - The Wrath Of Malachi, and Street Racing Syndicate. Beat the average price to also get A Game Of Dwarves, Guilty Gear Isuka, Gun Metal, Warlock - Master of the Arcane, and two yet-unrevealed games. Some activate on Steam.

A Game Of Dwarves

Indie Royale

Pay what you want for AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, Cognition Episode 2: The Wise Monkey, Fieldrunners, Snapshot, and Snuggle Truck. Most activate on Steam.

The "AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!" once broke the layouts of affilate sites which listed our headlines

Steam

As well as being on sale all weekend, Natural Selection 2 is free to play until 1pm PST on Sunday. Click here to install it through Steam. Also, good grief, Steam's indie sale is ridiculous and huge. I've only picked out a fraction of the discounts here.

Too bad Dishonored is at gamefly. I would have bought on steam, or amazon. :(

Yeah, and I dont need yet another account, to buy games from. I swore after greenmangaming, I would do no more accounts. Its either steam, gog, amazon, or gmg. Forget making accounts for anyone else. :(

Borderlands 2 for $16 is a helluva deal, if there are still people who haven't played it.

I'm tempted, but I'm gonna hold out for the $15 GOTY.

i am so tempted, but i really was let down by the first. are the characters fun this time? do they have skills that actually do things, rather than just one boring skill and a bunch of 5% passives? are there more interesting drops? are the guns all the same with just slight changes in this or that, or one being fire and one being ice. is there some real variety in the loot, rather than 900 drops that are all trash, except the one that is 8% better than your current weapon so you keep it? are the enemies all the same forward + attack with about 3 different models? are there more environments? more things to do? is the combat more satisfying?

i want to get this game, but im so afraid it will just be a small improvement over the first - and not enough for me to like it any more than the original.

Bioshock Infinite preorders make me sad. The bonuses are all games I already have or don't care about. I'd rather just have a preorder discount :(

you can choose $14 cashback at GMG for it, if you're looking for straight up discount

GMG deal is really good, unfortunately, the site is either getting hammered, or they're having internal issues. Having the site even load to download the free titles is becoming a chore. :(

Amazon also sent me a code for $50 off X-Com Enemy Unknown (aka making the game free) for pre-ordering Bioshock Infinite.

Does the GMG Bioshock deal get you the credit right away, or do you have to wait for the game to release first? Would like to use that for the Borderlands 2 season pass.

Steam also has a Bioshock Infinite offer.
They give you Bioshock 1, a bunch of TF2 items and... XCOM: Enemy Unknown :)
      But the price isn't discounted.

GMG = nothing but issues/problems. I should've just stuck with steam. I don't recommend attempting the infinite bundle with greenmangaming

What sort of problems? I've never had an issue ordering from them before.

people are ordering the bundles, they get charged, and aren't receiving any sort of confirmation emails (which was recently just brought up on the gmg forums), games aren't showing up that they bought on the site, keys aren't there/missing/haven't been sent out, etc..etc..

A lot of the issues I mentioned were just recently addressed with a "we're working on it" on the forums, but this isn't exactly what I'd expect from a business who had to know that the bundles they brought out for infinity would be this popular.
