You won't have long to wait, as 2D dogfight 'em up Luftrausers is flying this spring to PC, PlayStation 3, Vita, Mac and Linux, publisher Devolver Digital announced today.
It's an expanded and revamped version of Vlambeer's 2011 browser game, letting you futz with plane parts in 125 combinations, and offering over 100 missions to fly. Go on, play the browser game. Soar, float, and explode hundreds of enemy planes, ships and missiles.
Devolver announced a console release last year, but only confirmed PS3 and Vita today.
"We've had a great time working with Sony on previous projects and we're glad to finally announce that we're working with them again," Vlambeer co-founder co-founder Rami Ismail said. "It was kind of a no-brainer that Luftrausers would be a perfect fit for the systems and we're delighted to say that our screenshake translates really well to both a TV and the Vita."
Luftrausers will cost $9.99, hitting computer boxes via Steam and PlayStations via PSN.
