WildStar beta signups begin

Developer Carbine Studios is trying hard to smash many of the pesky problems that it finds annoying in the current crop of MMOs on the market. A new trailer shows off quite a bit of what the game is about and why all you "cupcakes" out there should care. And if you are interested after the video is done, you can sign up for the beta.

The video offers a bit on the two opposing factions (the Exiles and the Dominions) as well as what players can expect in the way of flora and fauna on the planet Nexus. There are also bits about property ownership, PvP and raids.

Carbine is accepting beta signups, but recommends you have a decent PC to run the client. An Intel Pentium Core2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD Phenom X3 2.3 GHz, or better CPU is required, along with 4GB RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT or ATI Radeon HD 3850 or better graphics card and a 64-bit Windows OS, as 32-bit systems are not supported in the beta.

OMG.. that's one of the best, hyperbole-filled, trailers I've seen a good long time. HAHA!

I have to sign up for the beta just because the trailer made me laugh.

the game will be meh I suspect, but the trailer...the trailer!
