Draw Something, a game concept so simple that its title doubles as an instruction manual, doesn't seem like it would leave much room for iteration. A sequel is in the works, though, according to a series of tweets kicked off by none other than American Idol host Ryan Seacrest.

Seacrest tweeted a picture using the Draw Something 2 interface, which was quickly followed by a confirmation reply from OMGPOP CEO Dan Porter (via CVG).

The Ryan Seacrest connection comes from his production company, which last year was reportedly priming a gameshow based on the popular iOS title. The game was briefly all the rage, but play time dropped off quickly.
