The artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg is getting his very own video game. 505 Games and developer Echo Peak announced Way of the Dogg, a rhythm-action game coming to Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and mobile platforms. The kung-fu Blaxploitation mash-up is set to coincide with Snoop's next album.

The announcement states that each stage requires a different style, set to one of the artist's tracks. Way of the Dogg hasn't been given an official release date, but Snoop's next album, Reincarnated, is coming on April 23. A film of the same title will be hitting theaters on March 15. Chances are the game will be coming sometime around the album's release.

"It's the way you live, it's the way you do what you do and captures the beat, the rhythm and the spirit of my music," Snoop Lion said in the announcement. "It's not just about who you are or where you've been but where you are headed to. This game shows how we evolve as individuals and they've incorporated the journey of my own personal reincarnation as Snoop Lion into my character, the environments and the path that players have to follow."
