Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix coming to North America this fall
Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix will indeed be coming to North America and Europe, the publisher confirmed today, having first announced the revamp-o-bundle in September 2012 for Japan. The convoluted RPG collision of Disney and Final Fantasy's worlds will come to PlayStation 3 this fall.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix's contents are about as confusing as its title. It offers HD-ified versions of the original Kingdom Hearts' Final Mix (an expanded edition which only came out in Japan) and of Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories (the PlayStation 2 remake of Game Boy Advance title Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories). It also includes HD versions of cinematics from the Nintendo DS instalment 358/2 Days, but not the game itself. Okay, sure.
Conspicuously absent from this package is Kingdom Hearts 2. Asked whether we'd see an HD version of the PS2 sequel, series director Tetsuya Nomura responded, "it'd be unusual if there wasn't." Consider yourselves teased.
