Legend of Grimrock to get a sequel
Indie developer Almost Human did incredibly well with its first title, old-school dungeon crawler Legend of Grimrock. Now the company is ready to move on and give the game a sequel.
Indie developer Almost Human did incredibly well with its first title, old-school dungeon crawler Legend of Grimrock, when it launched earlier this year. Now, the company has decided to skip the traditional DLC route and give the game a sequel.
The company had teased a new project on the official blog, but had been a bit nebulous on what it would be. "Internally we have talked about the project being a DLC for Grimrock. But creating a DLC for Grimrock doesn’t really ring true to us," it said in an updated post today. "A DLC would have limited too much what we can do. With a full blown sequel we can raise Grimrock to the next level."
The company offered no details on what the sequel will entail, but has promised more regular updates as the development of the game gets further along.

I'm hoping for exterior areas support with wide open spaces (think Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession), different altitudes, etc. I'm also hoping for revised magi system, the part i liked least about in the game.
And a personal longshot favorite, a editor + grand master client for anyone wishing to recreate pen & paper rpg with friends. -
